Cathy is repairing a figure cast in resign and fiberglass using bondo mixed with shredded burlap. During the casting and mold-making process, some detail work and structural integrity is compromised, and can be fixed by adding bondo and resurfacing it to match the surrounding areas. The bondo reacts with m.e.k. (metheyl ethyl ketone peroxide- a catalyst) and hardens quickly, allowing it to be manipulated using a grinder and air drimmel before its surfaced with paint.
